The three-day game jam held at the Smilegate campus has officially concluded.

On the 27th, Smilegate Future Lab announced the conclusion of 'Beaver Jam with Naver Webtoon,' a game jam leveraging Naver Webtoon IP, and the selection of 10 outstanding projects. Held from the 24th to the 26th at the Smilegate campus, the event allowed creators to focus on developing game prototypes in a short period. The event was made possible through a special partnership between Smilegate Future Lab and Naver Webtoon.

A total of 75 indie game creators, including planners, programmers, and designers, participated in this game jam. Participants reimagined and expanded upon famous webtoon IPs such as 'The Sound of Your Heart' and 'Zombie Daughter' to create various demo games. The event began with team building and sharing planning ideas on the first day, followed by full-scale development starting on the second day. Experts from Unity Korea, a sponsor of the Beaver Rocks Festival, participated as mentors to provide development know-how and technical consulting.

On the final day, a session was held for participants to exhibit and demonstrate the games they created. Through on-site judging, a total of 10 outstanding projects were selected. Notable works included 'King of Iron Chicken' and 'Isekai Jo Seok' based on 'The Sound of Your Heart' IP, as well as 'Zombie Run,' 'Zombie, You've Been Kidnapped,' and 'Zombie? No, Human Maker!' which reinterpreted the 'Zombie Daughter' IP. Five projects based on the 'Coco the Timid Tiger' IP also received high marks from the judges.

Meanwhile, the winning teams of this game jam were awarded prizes. These games are scheduled to be exhibited at the Naver Webtoon special pavilion during the indie game & culture festival, Beaver Rocks 2025, which will be held at the DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza) in Seoul from December 5th to 7th.
