After teasing various improvements through a recent live broadcast, the second closed beta for 'Arknights: Endfield' has finally kicked off.

Gryphline announced on the 28th that the 2nd closed beta is officially underway. Participants were selected via a lottery system from those who signed up through the official Gryphline page, with successful applicants receiving an email containing download instructions. While the test is currently live on PC and mobile, the PS5 version is scheduled to follow on December 12th with identical content.

This round of testing brings fresh cutscenes, an overhauled storyline, a revamped combat system, and new explorable regions. They have also introduced a branching narrative structure where player choices dictate the flow of events, adding a deeper layer of immersion. Furthermore, the new area 'Mureung' has been unlocked, blending Eastern aesthetics with a futuristic vibe to expand your exploration horizons.

To spice things up, nine new operators have joined the roster, including 6-star characters Adelia, Last Light, and Pogranichnik. Naturally, this has led to adjustments in the combat system, featuring refined combo skills, enhanced ability balancing, and reworked boss encounters. You will also find various quality-of-life additions such as Automated Industrial Complex (AIC) construction, item crafting, a photo mode, teammate guidance, and a detection feature.

The 2nd closed beta supports data syncing between PC and mobile, so you can play without being tethered to a desk. It also offers support for six languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Russian. An end date for the test will be announced separately, and as is customary, all player data will be wiped once the session concludes.
