Joycity’s basketball game '3on3 FreeStyle' has been selected as an official title for the global e-sports tournament 'Games of the Future 2025' (GOTF 2025), held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

'GOTF 2025' is an international event organized by Phygital International, supported by the UAE Ministry of Sport, and managed by the ETHARA organizing committee. It focuses on the 'Phygital' concept, which combines digital e-sports with actual physical activity, and is being held at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi until December 23.

The tournament previously recorded over 300,000 on-site spectators, more than 3.2 billion content views, and coverage across over 280 broadcast channels worldwide. This year, it features a total prize pool of over $1 million (approximately 1.475 billion KRW). Joycity has signed a formal licensing agreement for '3on3 FreeStyle' and is providing comprehensive support for a smooth competition environment, including technical assistance, broadcast cooperation, and local server infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Joycity plans to use its participation in GOTF 2025 to increase brand awareness and acquire new users for '3on3 FreeStyle' in the Middle East and North Africa markets. Furthermore, the company intends to use this tournament as a stepping stone to expand its global e-sports ecosystem and establish it as a key hub for its global publishing strategy.
