Cosmos Entertainment has announced the launch of the new 'Cheongeum' server for their online MMORPG, Online Three Kingdoms 2, which went live on the 30th.

This server has smashed expectations, recording five times the pre-registration numbers of its predecessor—easily the best result in the game’s history. Thanks to this overwhelming interest, they have expanded to operate more than two server channels, a first in the title's service life.

To mark the arrival of the Cheongeum server, a variety of in-game events are now underway. These have been designed to keep you busy with actual gameplay, focusing on PvE and PvP content, growth competition, and resource gathering. Whether you are a newcomer or a returning veteran, the progression has been tuned to ensure you can get stuck in right from the start.

The centrepiece of these celebrations is the 'Musan Gorge Battle', a server-exclusive skirmish between nations. Simply taking part nets you PvE attack power and reward buffs, and there is a personal ranking board to climb. The inaugural battle offers a real gold plaque (1 don), in-game currency, and gift vouchers for the victors.

There is also a 'Get Rich Quick' sweepstakes running. Instead of the usual lazy login rewards, this event demands you roll up your sleeves and complete missions using resources earned through actual play. For those who live for the grind, the 'Faster Than Anyone' event tracks character growth rankings over a set period, offering rewards including 'Miss Cheongeum' (Handmaiden) for the top performers.

You can also embark on the 'Road to Cheongeum' event, where 'Cheongeum Coins' can be snatched up in specific regions. Keep an eye out for a limited-time NPC selling 'Get Rich Quick' crests; these items provide a stat boost that should give your early-game character a tidy little advantage.
