Smilegate announced on the 6th that they are updating Epic Seven with a new Moonlight hero, 'Iseria of the Precious Sword'. She is a pivotal figure in the new side story episode, 'Requiem for the Fading Embers', which was first revealed back in December.

In the game’s lore, Iseria of the Precious Sword is an elven ruler chosen by the 'Elbris Ritual Sword'. While being chosen by a weapon carrying the power of the World Tree, she is consumed by that very power, forced to wage wars she never wanted, and burdened with a tragic fate. You can dive into the sorrowful tale of Iseria of the Precious Sword through the 'Requiem for the Fading Embers' storyline.

On the battlefield, Iseria of the Precious Sword appears as a Light-element Knight. She is built around a high counterattack probability, allowing her to inflict 'Injury' effects on foes and deal persistent additional damage. These mechanics are specialized to pressure opponents in PvP scenarios. Furthermore, her unique 'Rift' effect significantly boosts her Attack, though it comes at the cost of reduced Defense, requiring strategic usage.

Meanwhile, Smilegate is rolling out a generous spread of events to mark the Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day. From the 12th to the 22nd, every player logging into the game will be treated to a total of 77 free Covenant Summons. To keep the momentum going, they are also handing out 300 Energy. Additionally, a buff event running from the 12th to the 18th will provide various perks to assist with gameplay.
