Wemade Connect has begun development on a mobile game based on the original IP 'Hundred Note' from Japan's Kodansha. 'Hundred Note' is a new property from Kodansha that has garnered attention for its unique worldview and compelling characters.

'Hundred Note' is a mystery-themed IP unveiled in May 2023, which attracted interest for its roster of 100 characters and artwork contributed by famous illustrators. The web animation based on this IP has recorded a cumulative 1.6 billion views on YouTube, and the total number of subscribers to its official YouTube channel has exceeded 1.6 million.

Wemade Connect plans to develop a mobile idle collection RPG using the 'Hundred Note' IP. The game is set in a near-future city where public safety has deteriorated due to rising crime, and it will feature a story where players solve cases alongside various characters based on the original worldview. The developer aims to create a subculture title that appropriately combines investigation, combat, and collection elements within the main story flow.

Ho-dae Lee, CEO of Wemade Connect, stated, "Wemade Connect has accumulated development and operational know-how for local IP-based titles based on our past experience in the Japanese game service market." He added, "We will reinterpret the attractive characters and high expandability of 'Hundred Note' into a game that meets the expectations of global users."

The mobile game based on the 'Hundred Note' IP is being developed with a target for official release in the fourth quarter. It is scheduled to be released in the Japanese market first, with service areas expected to expand sequentially to the global market, including Korea.
