Dragon Sword, which launched in January, has unveiled its future improvement plans based on player feedback.

On the 9th, Webzen released the update roadmap for Dragon Sword for the first half of 2026. The roadmap was detailed in a developer note on the 6th, covering upcoming content, a monetization model overhaul, and priority items based on user suggestions.

First, the update scheduled for February will introduce a new character, 'Onett, the Saint of Dawn'. Additionally, a new resource dungeon, the 'Gold Dungeon', will be added, along with a location marker feature to improve convenience in open-world exploration.

Following this, the eastern region of the existing world map will be revealed, featuring a new terrain called 'Sky Islands', which consists of multiple floating islands. Furthermore, various boss raid content, including the new challenge mode 'Tower of Trials', will be introduced, along with a title and achievement system to customize your own mercenary squad, as well as new character costumes.

The hero summoning monetization model is also set for an overhaul. The pity threshold for guaranteeing 5-star characters and Karma will be lowered from 80 to 70 pulls. In response to user requests, quality-of-life improvements will also be implemented; key mapping options for immersive action will be added in March, and controller support is planned for April.

In addition, various communication features, including in-game chat for open-world exploration, are currently in development. Optimizing the mobile environment and improving device heating issues remain top priorities and are being addressed continuously, with other suggestions not mentioned in the developer note to be applied sequentially through further development.
