Following its initial test in 2023, 'Nakwon: LAST PARADISE' (hereinafter Nakwon) is once again opening recruitment for a closed beta test.

Nexon announced on the 12th that it has begun recruiting global participants for the closed beta test of its new zombie survival PvPvE title, 'Nakwon'. The test is scheduled to take place via Steam for PC this March. Set in a post-apocalyptic Seoul, Nakwon is a multiplayer game where survivors struggle to survive against both other survivors and zombies.

This closed beta is open to users aged 18 and older in select East Asian regions, including South Korea, as well as North America. Nexon aims to verify the game's quality and gather user feedback to enhance its overall polish. Detailed test schedules will be announced at a later date, and users can apply for the test via the Steam store page. Participants from the closed beta held in late 2023 can join this test automatically without a separate application.

This closed beta will feature more diverse survival actions compared to the previous test. The melee combat system has been redesigned to allow for more precise aiming, blocking, and dodging. Additionally, various new firearms and melee weapons will be added, and players can strategically select from a range of active skills to experience different survival scenarios each time.

Life content within the post-apocalyptic world has also been significantly enhanced. Players can arrange various furniture in their personal safehouse and engage in related activities. Different activities can be performed based on the flow of time—morning and afternoon—and new events will appear daily. Furthermore, new NPCs and various service systems, such as shops, have been added throughout the Yeouido district, which is expected to further increase immersion in survival and daily life within the game's world. This test will be conducted without an NDA, allowing for streaming, video recording, and content sharing.
