Elon Musk, the Tesla CEO who has made a habit of flaunting his gaming credentials, has once again grabbed the headlines. This time, he’s revealed that he’s been spending his precious, limited downtime with 'ARC Raiders'. Given his notoriously punishing work schedule, the fact that he's finding even a sliver of time to play has naturally piqued the interest of the industry.

On the 13th, Musk took to his own platform, X, to share a bit of life. Responding to a report that linked his rocket launch schedules to 'Diablo 2' updates, he admitted that his current workload is so immense that gaming is almost a luxury he can't afford. He added that he barely manages to squeeze in about 15 minutes of 'ARC Raiders' here and there, and that’s about it.

Musk is no stranger to the gaming scene, having previously sung the praises of titles like 'Elden Ring' and 'Diablo 4'. Back in December, he even chimed in on a post by the 'ARC Raiders' development team asking for player feedback, cheekily remarking, "It's a fun game. How do I hunt down the player who betrayed me?" followed by a fire emoji.

As for 'ARC Raiders' itself, it has been nothing short of a phenomenon since its release last year, proving that extraction shooters still have plenty of bite. As of last month, the game hit an impressive 960,000 concurrent players across all platforms, with total sales surpassing 14 million units. This performance has undoubtedly been a boon for Nexon’s fourth-quarter financials.
