'Super Battle Golf', a unique golf game combined with PvP, was released on Steam on the 20th. It has been making waves with its blend of satisfying mechanics and chaotic charm, vaulting into 5th place on the Steam global charts with a user rating of 'Overwhelmingly Positive'.

Super Battle Golf supports up to eight players. The goal remains the same—navigate bunkers and hazards to get the ball in the hole with the fewest strokes—but it features the ability to actively ruin everyone else's day by thwacking their balls or them directly with your club.

The chaos is bolstered by an arsenal of offensive and defensive items. You can drive a golf cart into your rivals or use a bomb disguised as a golf ball for area-of-effect attacks. With orbital lasers and pistols thrown into the mix, it’s safe to say this isn't exactly PGA-approved.

The game currently boasts 27 courses and includes single-player content if you fancy chasing high scores. Naturally, there are plenty of customization options for your clubs and characters.

The numbers speak for themselves: in just two days since release, the game has sold over 100,000 units and sits at 'Overwhelmingly Positive' with a 96% approval rating from 1,149 players. User feedback has been glowing, with comments ranging from "The most I've laughed in a game recently" and "The best golf game ever" to "Started this with a friend, ended it wondering where they went."

Elsewhere on the charts, several titles benefited from discounts. The Outlast Trials (70% off) reached 10th place, Euro Truck Simulator 2 (75% off) hit 8th, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 climbed to 4th after launching its steepest discount yet at 67%.

In the daily peak Concurrent Players top 20, Overwatch continues its momentum, reaching 136,582 concurrent players. Meanwhile, Rainbow Six Siege has seen a surge of returning players ahead of the Y11 update on March 3, which introduces Solid Snake to the fray.
