The Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA) is recruiting for the 18th batch of its 'KeSPA College Student Leaders,' the longest-running extracurricular program in the esports scene. This program aims to deepen students' understanding of the esports industry and provide them with practical experience.

Running since 2014, this initiative has produced 157 graduates to date. The previous 17th cohort was highly competitive, with a 12-to-1 ratio for five spots. Over their seven-month stint, these recruits participated in various activities, including content creation, professional workshops, guest lectures, and on-site reporting, providing them with opportunities to grow into esports industry professionals.

The 18th term kicks off with an inauguration in late March and runs through October. Successful applicants will produce esports-related content every fortnight and cover tournaments hosted by the Korea e-Sports Association. This cohort will operate as a unified team focused on video content, participating in the entire process from planning to filming and editing to enhance the quality of their work.

Participants will receive a stipend for content creation and project expenses. Those who complete the program will receive a certificate and commemorative gifts, with top performers receiving awards and additional prizes. Furthermore, top graduates will receive extra points when applying for jobs at the Korea e-Sports Association in the future. Any student—active or on a leave of absence—interested in the esports industry is eligible to apply, with preference given to those with strong skills in writing, video/image production, and foreign languages.

Applicants can apply via the Naver Form and must submit one piece of esports-related content (format free). The deadline is midnight on March 8. The selection process consists of a document review and an interview. Offline interviews will be held on March 16 and 17, and 1st-round qualifiers will be notified individually. Final results will be announced on March 18, and selected individuals must attend the inauguration on March 25.
