Insomniac Games has officially confirmed the release date for its upcoming action title, Marvel's Wolverine.

Sony announced via its official PlayStation channel on the 25th that the game will launch on September 15th. Developed by Insomniac Games, the studio acclaimed for the Marvel's Spider-Man series, this title follows Logan as he grapples with the mysteries of his past in a lonely, brutal struggle.

Marvel's Wolverine features the most mature and visceral combat in Insomniac's history. The game depicts intense action, including limb dismemberment and heavy blood splatter caused by the protagonist's adamantium claws. It aims to deliver a unique catharsis through Logan's feral, damage-ignoring combat style, setting it apart from traditional hero games.

Special abilities reflecting the original lore are also key elements. The 'Healing Factor' enhances immersion with visual effects showing real-time regeneration of wounds. Additionally, the 'Enhanced Senses' feature, which allows players to track enemies or detect ambushes using heightened smell and hearing, will make players feel like a true hunter.

Marvel's Wolverine is a PS5 exclusive and will feature official support for the Korean language. Further details will be released sequentially in the future.
