Tales of Berseria Remastered drops you into a world in turmoil, plagued by the 'Daemonblight'—a curse that turns humans into monsters under the light of a red moon. Our protagonist, Velvet, once lived a quiet life in a remote village, but that was shattered when the red moon returned. After witnessing her brother’s death at the hands of her brother-in-law, Artorius, and finding her left arm transformed into a monstrous limb, she sets out for revenge. Her journey takes her across the seas to the Midgand Sacred Kingdom, alongside a ragtag crew including Rokurou and Laphicet.

A launch trailer has arrived alongside the release, showcasing Velvet and her colourful cast of companions. We’ve also been treated to commentary videos from voice actors Rina Satou, who plays Velvet Crowe, and Azumi Asakura, the voice of Laphicet.

To celebrate the launch, Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea is hosting a fan authentication event running until March 2, 2026, on their X channel. Post your proof of fandom for 'Tales of Berseria' or 'Tales of Berseria Remastered' with the required hashtags, and you might bag yourself a prize. They’re giving away signed voice actor boards to 6 people, plus pizza, chicken, and coffee vouchers to 10, 14, and 20 lucky winners respectively. Winners will be announced on March 6.

This release is part of a broader push to bring the 'Tales of' back catalogue to modern hardware. It follows the releases of 'Tales of Graces f Remastered' in January 2025 and 'Tales of Xillia Remastered' in October 2025.
