Chuck Norris was an action star and martial artist who enjoyed immense popularity in Korea as well. He dominated the 1980s, gaining recognition for his successful performances in various films such as 'Invasion U.S.A.', 'Lone Wolf McQuade', and 'The Delta Force'.

Norris was born in Oklahoma in 1940 as the eldest of three brothers. He joined the U.S. Air Force in the late 1950s and served in Korea, where he learned Tang Soo Do. This experience led him to co-found the National Tang Soo Do Congress in the United States with his student, Pat Johnson.

In 1968, he became the U.S. Professional Middleweight Karate Champion and held the title for about six years, showcasing his martial arts prowess. This eventually led to the 'Chuck Norris Facts' memes, which parodied his strength. These jokes about Chuck Norris's invincibility became a cultural phenomenon that was also highly popular in Korea.

Chuck Norris also had a deep connection with the gaming industry. In 2017, he released a casual mobile game titled 'Nonstop Chuck Norris', and in 2020, he participated as a guest in the 'World of Tanks' Christmas update, appearing as a tank commander skin. He also provided his likeness and voice for the sheriff in the 2023 game 'Crime Boss: Rockay City'.
