Krafton is hosting an 'AI R&D Hackathon' to discover talent in the field of artificial intelligence research and development. This is the first AI R&D hackathon Krafton has held for the general public, and anyone interested in AI research and development can apply regardless of their major, age, career, or academic background. Applications are open until March 27.

In this competition, participants will be tasked with solving problems at the level of global AI research institutions within a limited time, comprehensively testing their problem-solving skills and AI-based research capabilities. The competition consists of two stages: preliminary and final. The first preliminary round will be held online from March 28 to 29, where participants will solve AI R&D-related problems for four hours each day. Those who pass the first round will participate in the second offline final, which will be held at the Krafton Yeoksam office from April 4 to 5.

The total prize pool is 9 million KRW. The first-place winner will receive 5 million KRW, second place 3 million KRW, and third place 1 million KRW. Additionally, the top 10 participants will be offered a 'Fast Track' opportunity, which exempts them from document screening, job tests, and initial job interviews, allowing them to proceed directly to the final interview stage in Krafton's hiring process.

Kang-wook Lee, Krafton’s CAIO (Chief AI Officer), stated, "Krafton AI aims to be a research organization that leads global AI innovation, continuously expanding the depth and scope of our research." He added, "We expect this hackathon to be an open stage where participants can prove their potential solely through their skills, regardless of their background or experience."
