Kakao Games has secured the top AAA rating in the ESG evaluation conducted by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) for the second consecutive year.

The MSCI ESG assessment is a global gold standard. Each year, it evaluates publicly traded companies across the globe on ESG-related key issues, assigning a rating on a seven-tier scale ranging from AAA to CCC. It is recognized for its international authority in the field of ESG evaluation.

Kakao Games maintained its AAA rating this year by receiving excellent evaluations across all ESG areas.

In the environmental (E) sector, the company strengthened its environmental management system by analyzing climate risks in accordance with TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) standards and obtaining the international standard ISO 14001 certification.

In the social (S) sector, the company upgraded its personal information protection and user rights policies, and enhanced its security management system to meet global standards.

In the governance (G) sector, the company established an enterprise-wide risk management framework and improved governance transparency and integrated risk response capabilities through the operation of an internal audit organization.

A Kakao Games representative stated, "Achieving the highest rating for two consecutive years is a result that reflects our consistent efforts in ESG management on the global stage," adding, "We will continue to strengthen ESG management that meets global standards to expand our positive influence."

Meanwhile, Kakao Games received a comprehensive A grade for the third consecutive year in the ESG evaluation conducted by the Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability last November. Additionally, the company was named an 'Industry Mover' in the '2025 Corporate Sustainability Assessment' conducted by global credit rating agency S&P Global, an award given to companies with the largest score increase within their industry compared to the previous year.
