NEXON announced on the 2nd that it has launched the 2026 Season 2 'Persona' update for Sudden Attack. This update introduces new characters Lina and Lynn, along with the new two-round burst pistol, the DAP-2 Persona. Additionally, the developer has introduced Survival Clan Battles alongside a variety of new events.

The new characters, Lina and Lynn, are twin sisters with contrasting fates, and they can be obtained by activating the Sudden Pass. The new two-round burst pistol, DAP-2 Persona, is provided as a reward for reaching level 60 on the Sudden Pass. Once level 60 is achieved, players can activate the Reboot Pass to acquire additional items, such as 1st and 2nd stage upgrade tickets for the DAP-2.

Furthermore, by meeting conditions such as the number of Reboot Pass activations or first-come, first-served milestones, players can obtain a Persona Weapon Selection Box or the C.Lina & Lynn Special Set. In the Pass Shop, players can exchange PP earned through pass level progression for items such as Persona weapon upgrade tickets, which provide My-Gun+ effects.

Starting this season, the game introduces Survival Clan Battles, allowing players to enjoy Survival Mode under clan battle rules with clan members or mercenaries. New seasons for Integrated Season Battles, Survival Mode, and Ranked Battles have also begun. To commemorate the new season, a special 'Sudden Live' broadcast will be held on April 2nd at 8 PM on the official Sudden Attack SOOP channel. This broadcast has been revamped into an official format where hosts directly experience the new updates and content.

Additionally, various benefits are available until the 30th for players accessing the game from premium PC bangs, including boosted My-Gun2 set effects, additional Noble My-Gun2 modification bonuses, and various login and PC bang shop rewards. PC bang-exclusive weapons in the Noble series have also been introduced. Furthermore, a new Wendy character has been released, with an event running until the 16th that offers a chance to obtain a permanent version of the character.
