Overwatch, which managed a successful comeback following a massive patch back in February, has revealed new hero artwork.

The news was shared on the 1st via the official Overwatch account. In the posted image, a female character previously hidden in shadow can be seen standing alongside previously released heroes such as Domina, Emre, Anran, Jetpack Cat, and Mizuki.

Details on the new hero have not yet been disclosed. However, given that she wields a significantly large firearm and a drone, speculation suggests she is a damage hero capable of long-range sniping and area control using her drone.

Some fans have noted that her beret, braided hair, and military attire are reminiscent of 'Cammy' from Street Fighter. Additionally, as the logo for the 'Helix Security' facility—where Doomfist was once imprisoned—is visible on her gear, there is growing anticipation regarding her background story.

The trailer for the new hero is scheduled to be released on the official Overwatch YouTube channel on the 9th at 1:00 AM (Korea Standard Time).

Meanwhile, Overwatch announced back in February that it plans to release a total of 10 new heroes this year.
