Kakao Games held its 'Friends Game Land' outreach event at the Seongnam City Hall Plaza on the 10th.

'Friends Game Land' has been the publisher's flagship CSR project since 2019, designed to provide gaming experiences to children and teenagers with limited access to gaming culture. Since last year, the company has strengthened its youth-focused activities through a partnership with the international children's rights NGO, Save the Children.

On May 10th, Kakao Games participated in the '15th Global Harmony Festival' hosted by Seongnam City, presenting its second 'Friends Game Land' campaign of the year for multicultural families, foreign residents, and local citizens. Kakao Games has participated in the 'Global Harmony Festival' annually since 2023.

This event focused on raising awareness for multicultural and foreign residents, and spreading the values of cultural diversity and inclusion through gaming. It was designed to allow participants from diverse backgrounds to communicate and collaborate naturally, transcending nationality and language barriers.

Approximately 500 people attended the event. The 'Play Zone' featured a Kakao Games zone with 4D VR content inside a mobile bus, a disability awareness zone offering wheelchair sports and Braille Yut-nori, and a photo zone for commemorative pictures.

A representative from Kakao Games stated, "We operated this campaign to help participants from diverse cultural backgrounds communicate and experience the value of cultural diversity through games," adding, "We will continue to cooperate with local communities to expand gaming opportunities and foster an environment where everyone can enjoy gaming culture, thereby spreading the positive values of games."
