SOOP is set to host the 2026 GSL Season 1 semi-finals and finals on May 17 at the FreecUp Studio in Daechi-dong, Seoul. The tournament features StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void as part of SOOP's esports content.

The semi-finalists for this season are Kim Do-wook, Cho Seong-ju, Shin Hee-beom, and Kim Jun-ho. In the first semi-final, Kim Do-wook will face Kim Jun-ho. Kim Do-wook advanced to the semi-finals as the top seed in his group after defeating Kim Do-woo and Cho Seong-ju, while Kim Jun-ho secured his spot after a match against Byun Hyun-woo.

In the second semi-final, Shin Hee-beom and Cho Seong-ju will compete for a spot in the finals. Shin Hee-beom reached the semi-finals based on consistent performance, while Cho Seong-ju is aiming for his ninth career title this season. The winners of the semi-finals will compete for the Season 1 championship in the finals held on the same day.

The tournament can be watched exclusively on SOOP via Korean and global broadcasts. Additionally, a user crowdfunding initiative, which allows fans to help shape the tournament, will continue this season. Participation is available through SOOP channel subscriptions, and there are special rewards for fans if specific donation milestones are reached.
