SEGA and Animate have announced a year-long collaborative project featuring SEGA Group IPs at Animate stores. This project encompasses a wide range of their IP portfolio through a partnership between the two companies.

The project features eight IPs, including those from SEGA's subsidiary ATLUS and Rovio Entertainment, offering in-store exhibitions, playable game demos, merchandise, and 'Cafe Gratte' (lattes topped with printed character graphics). Each region will host 'Only Shops' featuring thematic displays, and special incentives will be provided based on purchase amounts.

The lineup includes Sonic the Hedgehog, Puyo Puyo, Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage, ATLUS’s Persona series, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Like a Dragon, and Rovio’s Angry Birds. The events will be held sequentially in South Korea starting in June. SEGA is pursuing a transmedia strategy to expand its IP assets across games, video content, and music events, providing unique experiences in cooperation with Animate.

In Korea, 'Only Shops' and fairs for Sonic, Puyo Puyo, Hatsune Miku, Persona, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Like a Dragon, and Angry Birds are scheduled to be held at local Animate branches.

The first event, the Sonic the Hedgehog 'Only Shop' and fair, will be held from June 6th to June 28th at Animate Hongdae. Fairs will also take place at Animate Busan and Animate Jamsil Lotte from June 6th to June 28th. The Gratte event will run from June 6th to June 28th at Animate Hongdae and Animate Jamsil Lotte.

The Puyo Puyo Gratte event will be held at Animate Hongdae and Animate Jamsil Lotte from July 18th to August 9th.

The Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage 'Only Shop' and fair will be held at Animate Hongdae from August 15th to August 30th. Fairs will take place at Animate Busan and Animate Jamsil Lotte from August 15th to August 30th. The Gratte event will be available at Animate Hongdae, Animate Busan, and Animate Jamsil Lotte from August 15th to August 30th.

The ATLUS Persona series 'Only Shop' and fair will be held at Animate Hongdae from September 12th to September 27th. Fairs will take place at Animate Busan and Animate Jamsil Lotte from September 12th to September 27th. The Gratte event will be held at Animate Hongdae from September 12th to September 27th.

The ATLUS Metaphor: ReFantazio fair will be held from October 10th to November 1st at Animate Hongdae, Animate Busan, and Animate Jamsil Lotte. The Gratte event will be held at Animate Hongdae from October 11th to November 1st.

The Like a Dragon fair will be held from November 21st to December 13th at Animate Hongdae, Animate Busan, and Animate Jamsil Lotte. The Gratte event will be held at Animate Hongdae from November 21st to December 13th.

The Rovio Angry Birds fair is scheduled to be held at Animate Hongdae in December.
