Smilegate Hope Studio announced on the 20th that it will be operating a charity-focused booth at the 2026 PlayX4. Held at KINTEX in Ilsan from the 21st to the 24th of this month, the booth aims to spread positive influence by making it simple and enjoyable for visitors to contribute to a good cause.

In connection with the booth, Smilegate Hope Studio is launching a funding campaign titled 'PLAY for DREAM, Giving Wings to Children's Dreams'. This campaign will run on the Hope Studio platform from the 20th until the 21st of next month. PlayX4 visitors can access the platform via a QR code found at the booth's information desk to donate, and there's even a roulette event running on-site.

Every penny raised through this campaign will go directly to the 'Dream Designer' project, run by the international NGO World Vision. This project provides children and teenagers in the Gyeonggi province, who are often left in the shadows, with career exploration opportunities like corporate visits, alongside tailored educational tools and expert mentoring. This marks the second time Smilegate Hope Studio has supported this initiative, having previously backed it in May 2022.

Kwon Yeon-ju, Director at Smilegate Hope Studio, shared her thoughts: "I hope PlayX4 visitors can experience the Hope Studio platform firsthand and find that donating offline is just as fun as playing a game online."
