Kakao Games has rolled out its May update for the MMORPG 'ArcheAge War', packing in fresh hunting grounds, new contribution regions, and a hefty overhaul of existing content.

First up, we have 'Inn of the Dead', the final hunting ground in the 'Land of Song' on the Harihara continent. It is a high-difficulty area teeming with formidable new monsters, offering players a fresh playground for growth and a proper challenge. The Gredlon server is also getting its own Harihara hunting grounds, while the 'Corrupted Sanctuary' opens its doors as a new contribution region to bolster your character progression.

Fancy some new gear? The 'Baadran's Gloves', a new Primal-grade armour piece, have been added. Much like existing Primal gear, you can forge these using the 'Anvil of Evolution' by combining Eanad armour with various materials.

The developers have also tinkered with class balance. The focus here is on helping melee classes survive and effectively utilise crowd-control effects when diving into the thick of large-scale skirmishes. The affected classes include ▲One-handed Sword ▲Dagger ▲Two-handed Mace ▲Magic Swordsman ▲Grimoire. To ease the transition, a class exchange event is currently live.

Content adjustments are also on the menu. 'Calevar's Wagon' returns for a new season with a fresh mount, the 'Pepi Motorcar'. More importantly, they have trimmed the time and fatigue required for the activity and introduced a solo mode for those who prefer to go it alone.

The 'Temple of Power' has also received a tactical facelift. The match scale and map size have been shrunk, and the central turret now targets every guild except for the one currently holding it. New ways to rack up points—like returning the Sword of Power or slaying monsters—have been introduced, and in a mercy move, you no longer lose points for a defeat.

Naturally, there are events to celebrate. Existing server players can grab Hero-grade 'Groa' equipment via the 14-day 'Leafy' attendance event. Gredlon server players have it even better with daily check-ins and 'Season 5 Lucky Key' events, offering Legendary Summon Selectors, Legendary Challenge Selectors, and Eanad’s Ink (Legendary). Finally, the 'Hunting Ground Heat' event is active across all servers, dishing out enhancement scrolls and collection items.
