The Netmarble Cultural Foundation has announced that 4,000 picture books from its Oggaedongmu Library, donated to the Seoul Nambu Office of Education, will be utilized in the 'On-dongne Story Forest' after-school and care reading program.

The 'On-dongne Story Forest' initiative is a collaborative effort between the Netmarble Cultural Foundation and the Seoul Nambu Office of Education, aimed at boosting literacy and emotional well-being for first and second-grade elementary school students.

The Oggaedongmu Library has been a flagship CSR initiative for the foundation since 2014, striving to shift perceptions on disability and the socially vulnerable through stories that champion diversity and coexistence. With 14 titles already published—including 'Red Lion Mister', 'Actually, I Must Tell You', and 'Sniff Sniff Hero Dudu'—the foundation plans to release new books following this year's open call for entries.

To ensure the donated books are effectively utilized, the foundation will continue to support the 'On-dongne Story Forest' program by providing reading logs and various post-reading activities.

Last September, the Netmarble Cultural Foundation signed an MOU with the Seoul Nambu Office of Education to collaborate on the 'Netmarble Changmoon Project' for elementary students in the Guro, Geumcheon, and Yeongdeungpo districts. By leveraging Netmarble’s industry know-how to teach AI skills, the program saw 177 students complete the course last year, and it is currently supporting approximately 250 students across nine schools this year.
