Nexon pulled back the curtain on the June expansion for Dungeon & Fighter during their online broadcast on the 20th, detailing the upcoming Imperial Knight and Female Infighter classes.

The 'D-Note Live Broadcast' aired on the 20th, with the spotlight firmly fixed on the new 'Imperial Knight' and 'Infighter (Female)' classes. The Imperial Knight, a product of the brutal training regimen within the secret 'Golden Needle' organisation, boasts unwavering loyalty to the Empire. Her first specialization, the 'Breaker', is a physical dealer wielding an 'Anchor'. She’s all about mobility and heavy impact, featuring 'Anchor-type' area-of-effect skills, 'Chain' skills for cancelling delays and tracking enemies, and 'Iron-type' support skills that offer damage reduction.

The female Infighter, meanwhile, is a physical dealer who swaps out conventional gear for a totem. Haunted by her past abduction by the Black Order, she channelled that trauma into aggression before finding purpose through the 'Cloche Grace' divine martial arts. Notably, the gauntlet-style weapons that drew criticism during the initial reveal have been scrapped in favour of direct, visceral strikes.

Her kit is built on a foundation of cancel-chaining normal skills, powerful 'Aggressive' skills, and a state-based buff called 'Tension'. Once 'Tension' is triggered, those Aggressive skills get a serious power-up, opening up combos that were previously impossible. Her signature move, 'Weaving', now grants invincibility during the animation, serving as both a slick mobility tool and a way to style on enemies by dodging attacks in place.

We also got a look at the 'Desperate Resistance' difficulty for the Legion content 'Apocalypse: Antienby'. The named monster 'Ika' gets a fresh set of gimmicks, and taking it down in under a minute grants an express ticket to the final boss, 'Lopez'. Lopez himself is faster and more chaotic, featuring a map that crumbles floor by floor as you descend. With a recommended Fame of 112,000, this is strictly for the top 10% of players.

Rewards include the new 'Afterimage of Radiance' material, which can be traded for growth resources like Primal Souls, Epic Souls, and Primal Wills of Radiance. For those who prefer a less grindy life, the 'Path of Radiance' system allows you to dispatch NPCs to farm these materials passively. The content is available once a week and hit the live servers on the 21st.

On top of the big content drops, there’s a laundry list of quality-of-life tweaks: expanded gear and buff score displays, hotkeys for the armoury, the addition of 'Black Disaster' to the Delezie shop, a revamp of the Delilah repair coupon system, and a new graphics texture upscaling option.

Finally, Director Park Jong-min addressed the recent friction regarding communication. "It’s been a sobering reminder that regardless of my intent, what really matters is how our adventurers perceive these changes," Park admitted. "I promise we’ll strive to improve our communication moving forward."
