SOOP is set to broadcast every match of the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI 2026) in multiple languages. The platform plans to support various device environments and provide an expanded viewing experience for global esports fans through integrated online and offline events.

The 2026 Mid-Season Invitational, hosted by Riot Games, is an international League of Legends esports tournament where representative teams from major leagues around the world compete to determine the strongest team of the season. Through a broadcasting partnership with Riot Games, SOOP continues to collaborate on major League of Legends esports events, including the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) and the World Championship.

During the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational, SOOP will provide live broadcasts in multiple languages, including Korean, English, and Chinese, to support global fans. The matches will be available for convenient viewing across various devices, including the SOOP website, mobile app, SOOPTV cable channel, and smart TV apps.

SOOP will also operate an on-site booth. A '2026 Mid-Season Invitational Fan Festa' will be held at the Hanbit Tower Square in Daejeon Expo Science Park from July 3 to 12, where SOOP will host a booth for fans to watch matches and enjoy various on-site events. Visitors who download the mobile SOOP app, sign up, bookmark the League of Legends Champions Korea channel, and verify their participation in the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational event will receive partner team photo cards and related merchandise. Fan events featuring streamers and professional gaming teams are also scheduled.

Prior to the opening of the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational, SOOP will present its own esports content, 'Cross Regional League of Legends.' This content series is a global program featuring domestic and international streamers and professional players active on SOOP. The 'Cross Regional - SOOP LoL Invitational' will be conducted with Korean representative teams and global representative teams.

The tournament will operate in a round-robin format where Korean teams and global teams cross paths, with each Korean team facing the global teams once for a total of 9 matches. The matches are scheduled to take place as single-game rounds, with 5 matches starting at 6 PM on Friday, June 26, and 4 matches starting at 6 PM on Saturday, June 27.
