Wemade Max announced on the 29th that its subsidiary, LightCON, has released an update to celebrate the first anniversary of its roguelike casual defense game, 'Devil's Squad Attack!'. This update includes various events and new content designed to express gratitude to global players and enhance the gameplay experience. Key additions include a 1st-anniversary limited skin, a new Legendary devil 'Chuchu', and the new PvP content 'Champions Arena'.

First, the '1st Anniversary Grand Festival' offers generous rewards. During this festival, a 1st-anniversary limited skin and the new Legendary devil 'Chuchu' have been released via pick-up. Players can obtain rewards through intuitive events such as 'Ruby Box Draws' and 'Spinning Wheel' events. The new devil 'Chuchu' is a melee defensive character that deploys a vampiric magic circle to deal continuous damage to nearby enemies. It is characterized by its high survivability when facing multiple enemies through its area-of-effect lifesteal skill, making it specialized for holding the front line.

A special attendance event is also underway, allowing players to earn rewards just by logging into the game. For returning players, a dedicated 28-day attendance board and 7-day special missions have been prepared to help them grow quickly. Additionally, the new PvP content, 'Champions Arena', has been added for the first time.

System-wide improvements have also been implemented. Synergy effects that were previously applied only to specific content have been expanded to all content. This is intended to lower the entry barrier for new players and create a play environment that allows for more diverse combinations and strategies.
