Smilegate Orange Planet Foundation has officially kicked off its regular recruitment drive for the second half of 2026. Any team of two or more, including pre-startup aspirants, is eligible to apply regardless of sector or business stage. Successful candidates will receive complimentary office space at the Orange Planet Gangnam Center for up to 12 months, alongside a bespoke growth program designed to facilitate global expansion and commercialization.

In this recruitment, Smilegate Investment is participating as a partner to prioritize initial investments of up to 500 million KRW per team for selected startups. Beyond the capital, participants will gain access to mentorship for follow-up funding and potential links to TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup), offering a genuine opportunity to secure necessary funding.

This term, the recruitment process introduces preferential categories aligned with current global investment trends. The foundation is specifically looking for innovators in four key areas: digital healthcare, hyper-personalized medical services, humanoid robotics and physical AI, and power efficiency solutions for AI data centers. Applications are open from July 8 until July 27 at 2 PM, with the final results to be announced in late August following document reviews and interviews.

Seo Sang-bong, Center Head of Orange Planet, stated, "Through this recruitment, we plan to discover innovative teams that will lead future industries such as deep tech and AI infrastructure."
