The exhibitor list for Tokyo Game Show 2026 was announced on the 8th. According to the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association, the host of the event, this year will feature 759 companies from 51 countries across the globe, packing the venue with a total of 3,946 booths.

Major global industry titans have thrown their hats into the ring for this exhibition. Japanese stalwarts including Capcom, Square Enix, Koei Tecmo Games, Sega Atlus, Bandai Namco Entertainment, and Sony are all confirmed to host booths. Chinese gaming giant XD has also announced its participation.

Korean developers are making a significant presence as well. Nexon, Netmarble, and Smilegate are returning with large-scale booths to showcase both new titles and existing IPs. NCSoft has listed its presence under the name of 'Astra: Oratio', a title currently in development by Dynamis One. NHN will be represented through its Japanese subsidiary 'NHN Japan', while Com2uS is joining the fray via the B2B sector.

Additionally, Hybe subsidiary Dreamage, 'Dark and Darker' developer Ironmace, 'Limbus Company' creator Project Moon, and L&K are among the many set to meet Japanese fans. The Korea Creative Content Agency, alongside regional IT support organizations from Gwangju, Gyeongnam, Daegu, Busan, Jeonbuk, and Jeonnam, will also host a Korean collective pavilion to support promising indie and venture developers.

Tech and non-gaming firms are also drawing attention by joining the ranks. Samsung Electronics and Naver Webtoon plan to leverage the B2B area for global networking. Meanwhile, the gaming-specialized AI firm Anchor Node stands out as the only domestic company to participate in the dedicated AI technology exhibition hall.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Tokyo Game Show is extending its run by one day. The event will span five days, taking place from September 17th to the 21st at the Makuhari Messe exhibition centre in Japan.
