DreamAge and developer Bonfire Studios are launching the global closed beta for their PvP title, Alkeron. The testing window is set from July 16th at 10:00 AM to July 27th at 4:00 PM. Players can request access through the game's Steam page.

This test focuses on the new core content, Spires. Unlike the existing competitive mode, Ascension, Spires is a 3v3 arena mode that reduces exploration and focuses on combat. Players can purchase gear to test builds before the battle, and a Spires training mode is also provided for beginners.

The Ascension mode will be available only during specific times throughout the test. A 'Book' system has also been introduced to provide rewards based on play records, offering 25 items including skins and emotes. Participants will receive three special rewards, including limited-edition skins that can be used in Early Access and after the official launch.

During the test period, a giveaway event will be held for those who subscribe to official channels or leave comments on videos. Prizes will also be awarded to outstanding users who post reviews in the community. Additional events will be held for those who reach specific stages in Spires or participate in custom matches.
