FromSoftware is preparing The Duskbloods as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, and the studio has announced that a closed beta test will be held this August.

The testing window is set for August 21st to 24th, with the recruitment period running from July 22nd to July 28th. The selected participants will be revealed on August 7th, and starting from 10 PM on August 18th, participants can access their My Page to grab the download code required for The Duskbloods network test version.

The goal of this test is to verify server load, multiplayer stability, and balance. The team aims to examine various technical issues that arise in multiplayer, while also checking the overall balance, including the impact of player interference.

The Duskbloods is a new PvPvE title from FromSoftware, exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2. The game follows the 'Twilight Kin,' who have attained superhuman power, as they clash over the source of the Primal Blood. It supports up to 8 players in multiplayer and features over 10 distinct characters, each with their own unique traits.

The Duskbloods is currently slated for a 2026 release on the Nintendo Switch 2.
