Joycity has confirmed that the official launch of its new online basketball game, 'Freestyle: Reboot', will take place on August 13. Pre-registration has also begun ahead of the official release.

Freestyle: Reboot is a new title developed to inherit the authenticity of the original 'Freestyle' IP. While maintaining the core 3v3 real-time matches and street basketball vibe of the original, it applies a new engine to modernize the graphical quality and character movements. Furthermore, it focuses on implementing a fair competitive environment by reducing reliance on item stats, ensuring that the player's control skills and experience are directly reflected in the match results.

Joycity is conducting a pre-registration event until the official launch. Participants will receive character cosmetic items and in-game points as a base reward, with additional benefits such as extra cosmetic items and points available through social media sharing missions.

Jeon Hyun-kyu, Head of the Freestyle Business Division at Joycity, stated, "As we have maintained the fun of the original while enhancing convenience, we will do our utmost to prepare for a stable and fair play environment in time for the official launch on August 13."
