SOOP will hold online qualifiers for the ASL Season 22 main event on August 1st and 2nd, sponsored by Google Play. This tournament is SOOP's flagship original esports league featuring Blizzard Entertainment's 'StarCraft: Remastered'.

The online qualifiers will begin at 1:00 PM each day. A total of 22 players will be selected for the main event, with 12 advancing on the first day and 10 on the second. The qualifiers will then join the players who have already secured their seeds to compete in the round of 24.

Prior to this, Jang Yoon-chul (P) won the wildcard match to secure a direct seed to the round of 16. Additionally, Kim Taek-yong (P) and Byun Hyun-je (P) have confirmed their spots in the round of 24 through the season opener. Once the 22 qualifiers are added, the round of 24 bracket will be complete.

Google Play continues its official sponsorship this season, and a drops event will be held for fans watching the tournament. Viewers who watch the qualifiers through the official ASL broadcast channel will be entered into a lucky draw to win Google gift cards.

Meanwhile, the finals for this season will be held at a special stage at the Lotte World Ice Rink. Detailed qualifier schedules and event information can be found on the official broadcast channel.
