Smilegate has confirmed that its new MMORPG, 'Eclipse: The Awakening', will launch on September 10. Developed by NPIXEL, this new title supports cross-platform play on PC and mobile. It is set in Ederion, a world that has prospered under divine blessing, and its hidden shadow world, Orthea, exploring themes of human free will and awakening.

Eclipse: The Awakening aims to be an 'MMOLite', retaining the genre's core appeal of growth and competition while reducing the burden of gameplay. It features strategic combat utilizing weapon selection and skill fusion systems, alongside time-based growth content such as the Sanctuary. The game is set to provide new enjoyment through differentiated elements, including choice-based PvP tailored to user preferences.

Meanwhile, ahead of the official launch, Smilegate is conducting pre-registrations on its official website, Google Play, and the App Store. All participants will receive useful early-game rewards, including a Rare-grade Transcendence Summon Ticket and a Weapon Skin Selection Ticket. Users who add the official KakaoTalk channel will receive an exclusive skin. Additionally, through weekly coupons, users can definitively obtain Transcendence and Weapon Skin Summon Tickets—which can reach up to Legendary grade—as well as gold and the Hero-grade accessory, the 'Eclipse Ring'.
