Nexon announced on the 13th that it has updated Sudden Attack with two new demolition mission maps: 'The Mall' and 'Line.' This update introduces maps specifically tailored for small-scale 2v2 combat, accompanied by a host of celebratory events. Furthermore, Nexon is kicking off the countdown to the game's 21st anniversary.

These new maps are designed with small-scale combat in mind. In standard matches, you can engage in 1v1 to 3v3 battles, while clan matches support 2v2 to 3v3 configurations. Both maps support clan match records and map proficiency tracking. 'The Mall' takes place in a luxury shopping centre, split between a 'Commercial District' that favours long-range sniping and a 'Plaza' where close-quarters combat is the order of the day—choose your path wisely. 'Line' is a reimagining of the classic 'Skyline' map, having sealed off the second floor and access points to force more aggressive, high-density firefights on the ground level through two new entry points.

To mark the occasion, Nexon is hosting a challenge quest running until August 27. Players who rack up kills or claim round victories in the new maps can earn rewards like 'Permanent Secondary Weapon Extension,' 'Plus Combo Pack EX (15 days),' 'Art Grenade - Laughter (15 days),' and 'Nickname Change (3 days),' alongside experience points.

The 21st-anniversary festivities are also in full swing. The '21st Anniversary Eve Showtime Event,' running until August 19, provides players with rewards such as '21st Anniversary Tokens,' 'G18(S) 21st Permanent,' 'SCAR_v2(IS) 21st Permanent,' and 'Showtime Premium Containers' when they log in at specific times throughout the day. PC bang users receive additional exclusive rewards.

Additionally, until August 16, there is a '21st Anniversary Countdown Chat Event.' Simply type the specified phrase in the public chat to receive daily rewards, including the 'FAMAS(IK) Korea Permanent,' 'Custom Kill Booster (7 days),' 'MyGun Kill Booster (7 days),' and 'Permanent Magazine (x2).'

Meanwhile, voting for the 21st-anniversary weapon skin design contest is open until August 20. Every voter receives a 'September Monthly Character Multi-Count,' and the winners are set to be announced on August 24. Also, the popular 'Rock-Paper-Scissors' event makes a return until September 3 with fresh rewards; complete daily missions to earn tickets for a shot at top-tier prizes like the '[M]TRG21(IS) Noble Lv.1 Permanent'.
