Last week in the South Korea region of Raven 2, the throne saw a change in leadership. The Divine Caster finally unseated the Night Ranger, which had held the top spot since launch. Considering the Divine Caster was hovering around 3rd place in the early days, it has been quite a tumultuous journey. However, reaching the summit is only half the battle; maintaining that status is the real test. In that sense, the current outlook for the Divine Caster is rather positive, as fluctuations in class share and ranking have significantly stabilized.

Rankings for popular classes by server have hardened rapidly. The only servers witnessing any movement were Mors and Metus in the Kerum World. In the former, the Divine Caster and Night Ranger swapped places, with the Night Ranger claiming the top spot. In the latter, the Divine Caster’s share dipped by 2 percentage points, resulting in a tie for first with the Night Ranger. Barring any major surprises, the Divine Caster looks set to maintain this momentum for the time being.

Overall Class Share

The Divine Caster and Night Ranger are also locked in a fierce battle within the overall Raven 2 class share chart. Here, the Divine Caster’s share decreased by 0.2 percentage points, while the Night Ranger saw a 0.1 percentage point increase, narrowing the gap slightly to 0.6 percentage points. We shall see how this tug-of-war develops.

The 5th to 10th place bracket remains remarkably quiet. The Destroyer managed to scrape together a 0.1 percentage point gain, escaping a tie for 7th place. Simultaneously, the Vanguard slipped from a shared 7th to a solitary 8th. With the exception of the Berserker, all melee classes have drifted toward the bottom. Incidentally, the Assassin, which belongs to this group, has seen its presence diminish significantly in the Raven 2 Chaos Tower rankings as of the second week of August. It is quite apparent that many high-ranking players moved on during the last class change season.

What about the ranged and magical classes? Regarding the former, the Night Ranger and Destroyer both gained 0.1 percentage points, while the Gunslinger maintained a steady position in the mid-tier. As for the latter, the Divine Caster and Deathbringer lost a small slice of the pie, while the mid-tier Elementalist remains unchanged. Overall, the ranged class cohort has fared better than most.

Global Class Share

Moving on to the Raven 2 global region class share. The mid-to-lower ranks, specifically 5th through 8th, have fully solidified. Above them, the top 4 saw the Divine Caster and Night Ranger gain 0.3 and 0.1 percentage points, respectively. As these two classes secured a combined 0.4 percentage point increase, the Berserker, Deathbringer, Vanguard, and Warlord each shed 0.1 percentage points.

Guild Dungeon Ranking Records

In the guild dungeon rankings, the fates of TOP and Valentine have diverged. Both guilds were tied for 5th place last week with a clear time of 6 minutes and 50 seconds, but TOP managed to shave their time down to 6 minutes and 32 seconds, claiming 5th place outright. Generally, the charts are stagnant, likely because the current guild dungeon season is nearing its conclusion. The season is expected to wrap up on the morning of August 24.

Finally, the results of the Raven 2 user poll. Last week, we asked what criteria you use to define a 'good' class. The most popular response was 'performance relative to investment.' You clearly want results that reflect the time and effort poured into your characters. Following that, survivability was ranked second, and demands for class buffs took third.
