A mobile game utilizing Playwith Games' Seal Online has secured a foreign ISBN from China's National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA).

The NPPA updated its approved imported online game data (ISBN issuance) on its official website on the 31st. The newly revealed approval list includes new titles from major domestic game companies along with a mobile game leveraging the Seal Online IP serviced by Playwith Korea.

The local Chinese service title for this newly licensed game is '希望之启航'. Seal Online was previously serviced in China under the name '希望OL', and Playwith Games previously entered into a mobile game development contract utilizing the Seal Online IP with the Chinese game company Kingnet Network. The local Chinese partner is currently coordinating plans and schedules with the goal of a Chinese launch within the fourth quarter of this year.

An ISBN is a mandatory permit required to service games in China, and games developed overseas fall under the foreign ISBN issuance category.

Playwith Korea is strengthening its global Seal IP business by expanding cooperation with local Chinese partners following this ISBN acquisition. The company also signed a Seal Online mobile expansion contract with Beijing Ruiwo Technology located in Beijing, China, and concluded a Seal IP licensing agreement with MAXION Games in Thailand. Domestically, the company is also preparing for the launch of Mabinogi Mobile in the second half of this year.

Playwith Korea plans to expand the influence of the Seal IP in the global market starting with this Chinese ISBN acquisition, while continuing a new leap forward domestically through Mabinogi Mobile.

A representative from Playwith stated, "This Chinese ISBN acquisition serves as an opportunity to once again confirm the global competitiveness of the Seal Online IP," adding, "We are continuously expanding the 'Seal' IP business in the global market including China while making thorough preparations for the successful launch of 'Mabinogi Mobile' domestically."
