The Game Rating and Administration Committee and the Korea Human Resources Development Institute for the Elderly signed a memorandum of understanding on September 1 to create custom jobs for seniors and bridge the digital information gap.

This arrangement was designed to leverage the social experience and professional expertise of experienced seniors to create tailored jobs, while boosting game usage education for seniors to establish a healthy gaming culture and achieve digital inclusion.

Through this agreement, both institutions decided to cooperate from various angles for elderly job creation and the development of the gaming industry by utilizing the educational infrastructure, contents, and networks possessed by each organization.

The main points include mutual cooperation for training and operating senior game professional instructors, planning and operating education to foster skilled senior human resources, linked utilization of educational portals, infrastructure, and networks held by each organization, and support for the budget required for business operations.

Based on this agreement, the Game Rating and Administration Committee plans to foster experienced senior human resources as game professional instructors, bridge the digital information gap among the elderly, and spread a proper gaming culture.

Chairman Seo Tae-geon stated, "This agreement will serve as a meaningful opportunity to connect the rich experience and expertise of the senior demographic with the healthy development of the gaming industry." Seo Tae-geon added, "Through close cooperation with the Korea Human Resources Development Institute for the Elderly, we will create sustainable senior-customized jobs and take the lead in building a digitally inclusive society."
