Look, let's be honest, on September 8th, Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions rolled out its 'New World Season 2' fresh region, alongside the Masters League quarter-finals and a revamp of how you acquire Archaic Accessories, among other chunky updates.

First off, the fresh servers for the New World Season 2 region—namely Pegasus, Phoenix, Aurora, and Vega—have officially swung their doors open. These new servers keep things relatively chilled by ditching any extra package deals outside of basic passes and subscription goods, while costumes are strictly limited to direct purchases or silver/gem transactions to ease the weight on your wallet. These four new servers share an exclusive integrated marketplace, and you can dive straight into pretty much all the content right from launch, with the sole exceptions of Frostbite Cliff, Total War, and Siege Battles.

The Masters League quarter-finals are also running until September 16. Throughout this period, you can rack up points by hunting down bosses in the Black Night Archipelago and the time-limited event boss, the Wrath of the Battlefield. Points are tallied up per server to dish out group ranking rewards, and the Masters Trust coins you scrape together from boss contributions can be swapped for a variety of goodies at the shop. That said, to keep things fair given the growth gap, the new servers will skip the point race entirely and instead host a separate personal participation event starting from September 14.

Gear farming has thankfully become a lot more civilised. The publisher has pulled the plug on selling Archaic Accessories for gems, tweaking the system so you can now actually earn tradeable Archaic Accessories simply by hunting in the Black Night 2nd Archipelago. They have also boosted the drop rates and quantities of Archaic Accessories bagged from Trial Dungeons, and slipped Archaic Accessory Enhancement Stones into the regular in-game currency shop. On top of that, channel player caps in World Boss habitats have been trimmed down, and event recipes for Archaic Equipment Restoration Tickets have been tossed in for good measure.

To celebrate the grand opening of these new servers, a rather cheeky bundle of events has kicked off as well. If you are playing on a fresh server, you can grab the 'New World Special Pass' for a mere 100 silver until October 28 at 6:00 AM, bagging yourself essential progression loot like a 4-choice Archaic Accessory chest. Alongside that, the 'New World S2 DIY Restoration Ticket Attendance' event runs right up until December 6:00 AM on December 30. By logging in daily and collecting DIY Restoration Ticket Fragments, you can craft re-synthesis tickets for Spirits, Mounts, Weapon Appearances, and Dreamstones.
