Publisher Shoreline Games and developer David Koutecky released the first-person psychological horror game 'Dreadline Express' for PC via Steam on the 16th.

Dreadline Express tasks players with unraveling the mystery of the last human train, exploring the relics of a devastated civilization, and uncovering the secrets of each cabin and the stories of the passengers. Players can explore freely, choose allies and enemies, and overcome obstacles using strength, tactics, or deduction. They must also gather clues and connect puzzles to piece together the fragmented story.

Featuring a unique card-based narrative system, discoveries and achievements are turned into cards, which can be used to find connections, plan the next move, and unlock new possibilities. Every card helps make sense of the train's story and the fate of its occupants, and the choices and relationships of the player influence how the journey unfolds.

At the same time, the game invites players into a world thick with Lovecraftian themes and atmosphere. Players follow their curiosity aboard a steam train that serves as humanity's last trace, cutting across the scars of a planet that no longer belongs to humans. A handful of unique and ominous survivors are aboard this train, guiding the way to the next destination through riddles rather than direct instructions.
