Pearl Abyss has announced that it held a sharing event for children with incurable diseases and their families, alongside the adventurers of Black Desert and Black Desert Mobile. Pearl Abyss gathered a total of 20 million won worth of donations and goods through this event, visiting the National Cancer Center on October 16 to showcase various programmes.

This event was organised in collaboration with Make-A-Wish Korea, an organisation that supports granting wishes for children with incurable diseases. Pearl Abyss hosted magic shows and caricature experiences for the children and their families at the National Cancer Center. Additionally, 100 children and family members were given Pearl Abyss merchandise and gift sets tailored for hospital life.

These donations and goods were brought together through the active participation of adventurers. Black Desert players completed quests involving delivering dolls to NPCs in the game and transporting gift boxes, whilst Black Desert Mobile users joined the sharing initiative by directly choosing winter items, moisturising goods, or stationery sets they wished to send to the children.

Pearl Abyss has steadily continued support activities for children with incurable diseases alongside Make-A-Wish Korea since 2021. From 2021 to 2024, Pearl Abyss has supported wish-granting for children, hosted headquarters invitations, and run mentoring programmes. Last year, Pearl Abyss visited Asan Medical Center in Seoul to hold an event for the children and their families.
