Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (hereinafter referred to as the Agency) are operating the 'Korea-Thailand Market Pioneers' in Bangkok, Thailand, from October 28 to 31.

Five game companies from Busan—BND Angle, Urban Wolf Games, C-Play, Visual Dart, and Zombie Mate—are participating. They will visit key local game companies, conduct global B2B consultations, and engage in exchanges with related organizations.

On October 28, the delegation will visit local Thai game companies PlayPark and GRAVITY GAME TECH (Gravity's Thailand branch). They plan to examine local game publishing and service operations, and discuss game distribution and marketing strategies tailored to the Southeast Asian market.

From October 29 to 30, they will participate in the B2B exhibition hall at 'gamescom asia × Thailand Game Show' held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok. They will introduce their games to local and global publishers, investors, and platform companies, while exploring publishing contracts, investment attraction, and joint ventures.

gamescom asia × Thailand Game Show is a gaming event involving Asian game industry professionals and users. It was first held in Bangkok last year, attracting approximately 206,000 visitors and 5,590 industry professionals. This year's event runs from October 29 to November 1.

The Agency will interact with local game industry organizations and event organizers, such as Thailand's Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA). They plan to share the current status of both countries' game industries and corporate support policies, laying the groundwork for cooperation to help Busan game companies enter the local market.

Director Kim Jong-chul of the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency stated, "The core of overseas expansion is finding the business partners best optimized for our companies and games." The director added, "We will spare no follow-up support to ensure that this market pioneer delegation leads to concrete results such as publishing, investment, and local business cooperation."
