Look, let us be honest—NC rolled out a fresh batch of content for Aion on October 21 with the newly dropped Drakhan update.

This marks the very first major content drop since the Aion remake was revealed back in May. What do you get? Fresh worlds under the names of Drakhan 1 and Drakhan 2 servers, a brand new Draconian race known as Drakhan, plus a lineup of new instance dungeons, open fields, and systemic revamps.

The brand new world Drakhan opens its virtual gates on the evening of October 21 at 7 PM. You can dive right into the growth express event, which hands out various rewards depending on your progression stage. Just by boosting your character level and Deva potential, you will secure high-tier cloaks, unique accessories, and manastones.

Even if you missed out on the pre-registration for the Drakhan world, do not worry—you can still grab a new equipment cloak through the latecomer event running until November 30. Meanwhile, the very first Deva event, active until November 18, awards unique-grade wings and stigmas to the players who clear in-game missions the fastest.

The Draconian race Drakhan has also made an entrance. You can switch between a humanoid form that unleashes magic attacks using dragon orbs and a draconic form capable of unleashing devastating area-of-effect assaults during combat.

Lunadium, a top-tier instance dungeon accessible to players across all worlds, is also stepping into the spotlight. You can form a party to tackle it, and even if your group fails to conquer it, you will still walk away with reward chests determined by how far you pushed the boss battle. These chests contain top-tier cloaks and heroic-grade equipment.

Over in the Drakhan and Deva worlds, a timed field called Primeval Ishalgen has been added. You can rake in massive experience points and nab new heroic-grade armor. The developers have also overhauled various content and systems: entry limits for certain dungeons have been scrapped, class balances inside the Katara Arena have been tweaked, transit points near major hunting grounds have been expanded, dismantling legendary gear now guarantees a 100 percent refund of enhancement stones, and unlimited flight is now a thing.
