Pokémon Korea has introduced a brand new KakaoTalk emoticon featuring the beloved Pokémon Spheal.

Pokémon Korea announced via their official social media channels on October 20 that they have officially launched a new Kakao emoticon titled 'Roll and Roll! Spheal!' starring the popular Pokémon series character Spheal. The collection captures Spheal's characteristically round and cute appearance in a charming 2D illustration style.

The newly released emoticons consist of 24 animated images that playfully express Spheal's movements. They feature emotions useful for everyday chats, such as rolling its round body around playfully, tearing up in sadness, or looking puzzled with a question mark floating above the head. In particular, the watery, crying eyes evoke a vibe similar to the characters from the recent sensationally popular manga Chiikawa.

Not only Spheal, but its evolutionary forms Walrein and Sealeo also make an appearance to double the viewing fun. The playful interactions between the Pokémon at different evolutionary stages are depicted, such as the massive Walrein letting out a roar or Sealeo playfully bouncing Spheal around. Additionally, popular Pokémon like Pikachu make cameo appearances.

Roll and Roll! Spheal! can be purchased at the Kakao Emoticon Shop.
