Smilegate has announced the introduction of a PC payment system for its MMORPG, Eclipse: The Awakening. Alongside this, the publisher has rolled out the Eclipse Point (ECP) scheme, allowing players to rack up credit from PC transactions to use as discounts later on.

The Eclipse Point system lets users accumulate a portion of their spending when making purchases on PC, which can then be put towards discounts on future PC checkouts. These accumulated points will land in accounts two weeks after the actual transaction date. To celebrate the rollout of PC payments, players can bag a hefty 10 percent back in Eclipse Points on all PC transactions until September 30.

Eclipse: The Awakening has been pulling in a rather positive response from a broad crowd of players by keeping the signature progression and combat thrills of an MMORPG while dialling down the stress of constant logins and heavy competition. Back on August 8, the team opened up a fresh world named the Celine server to give players a much smoother playground. Smilegate is keeping up the momentum in the regular update on August 21 by dropping new sub-quests that let you dive deeper into the lore, all in the name of tightening up the overall package.
