Diablo, one of Blizzard's iconic properties, is making its way to your tabletop.

Glass Cannon Unplugged revealed 'Diablo: Unbound' via their official website on the 21st. The Polish board game studio has a solid track record of adapting video games like Frostpunk, Dying Light, and Apex Legends into board game formats.

Diablo: Unbound is a cooperative dungeon-crawler for one to four players. Staying true to the hack-and-slash roots of the original games, the experience leans heavily into combat rather than wandering around, revolving around slaughtering massive hordes of monsters, farming loot, and challenging formidable boss monsters.

The dungeons span a total of three acts, allowing players to pick from classes like the Barbarian, Rogue, Sorceress, and Paladin, each featuring their own dedicated deck. Classic enemies from the franchise such as the undead and Khazra make an appearance, alongside everyone's favourite bonus target, the Treasure Goblin.

Specific details such as the official release date or a launch in South Korea have not been announced yet, but crowdfunding is scheduled to kick off on the crowdfunding platform Gamefound in the first quarter of next year.
