Look, let's be honest, if you fancy a proper tabletop session, the '2026 Seoul Board Game Fair Winter', hosted by the Korea Board Game Creators Association (KTDA), is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, November 14 at the Spaceshare Samsung Station Centre in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Advance ticket sales have officially opened for this gathering, where you can check out brand-new creations crafted directly by independent board game designers. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the exact same day.

Unlike your typical publisher-heavy expos, this particular 'Seoul Board Game Fair Winter' has been put together as a dedicated creator-driven festival where independent designers show off their very own passion projects. Visitors can dive straight into hands-on demos, purchase titles right on the spot, and have a proper chat with the creators themselves about the craft. Around 50 booths are expected to fill the venue, promising fresh releases and unannounced titles tailored for the international board game scene.

Following a rather successful debut earlier this year, the organisers at the Korea Board Game Creators Association are back with their second outing. The association intends to host these gatherings twice a year around the accessible hub of Seoul, shining a light on local creators and supporting their artistic endeavours through various maker-first initiatives.

The venue is set in the Regency Hall on the basement level of Daehwa Building, Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, conveniently located near exits 7 and 8 of Samsung Station on Subway Line 2. Admission will set you back 5,000 won. Advance booking runs until November 13, and everyone who secures a ticket early will receive two 2,000 won discount vouchers. Walk-ins purchasing tickets at the door can also snag the exact same perk on a first-come, first-served basis.
