NCSoft has rolled out a fresh server dubbed 'Valakas' for its idle MMORPG, Journey of Monarch.

This newly minted Valakas server operates as an entirely isolated ecosystem. Matchmaking for barracks and duel arena content is strictly confined within this server's borders. While new players are exclusively funneled into Valakas, those already established on other servers are barred from entry.

To sweeten the deal, everyone on Valakas can bag three Mythic heroes simply by logging in. Furthermore, the server boasts exclusive perks, including ▲Hero Pick-up events, ▲Diamond Roulette, and various battle passes. The Diamond Roulette in particular offers a chance to snag rewards like an 'Ad-Free Monthly Subscription' lasting up to eight weeks.

The update also introduces a new territory, 'Dragon's Nest,' and adds 30,000 stages. The maximum stage ceiling has been hiked from 95,000 to 125,000. As players push through these new milestones, they can collect loot to bolster their monarchs and heroes. The Valakas territory features bosses with varying elemental affinities, including Fire, Earth, and Neutral.

A new Mythic-grade Magic Doll, 'Zeb Requi,' joins the fray. When possessed, Zeb Requi amplifies the party's elemental penetration, and when deployed, it grants a flat boost to attack power. Once the Ultimate skill is triggered in battle, it increases the elemental penetration of all allies by 10% for 20 seconds.

On top of the additions, various quality-of-life tweaks have been implemented. The number of equipment sets available for collection and utility has been bumped from eight to ten, and a feature has been added allowing players to cancel their referral registrations 24 hours after submission.
