Nexon announced on the 7th that it has added a new hunter, 'Tetra', to the battle royale PC game SUPERVIVE, developed by Theorycraft Games.

Tetra is a Controller-type hunter who deals damage using rock-solid fists and molten lava. The character possesses a passive skill that detects enemies outside the field of view while stealthed. Tetra uses 'Magma Fist' to throw lava chunks or shove enemies back by holding the button, and 'Crater Slam' to stun enemies with an area-of-effect attack. The hunter also utilizes 'Lava Barrier', which creates three lava walls that can be launched using Magma Fist, and the ultimate ability 'Tetraform', which creates a massive rock wall to slow down enemies.

Additionally, seasonal missions have been added to the Forge, where players can acquire or upgrade items using in-game currency. Two missions are added with each patch, allowing players to earn equipment, upgrade materials like Prisma, Prisma Capsules, and permanent gear unlocks. Completing 12 seasonal contracts grants a limited-edition cosmetic item.

Nexon is holding a second special promotion for the official launch of SUPERVIVE. Players who open a tax-advantaged account with Kiwoom Securities (brokerage ISA or pension savings account) and play the game once will receive one share of major US stocks such as Tesla, Apple, Nvidia, or Palantir Technologies. Achieving one win grants an additional 10,000 KRW in investment support. Playing for 30 minutes at a PC bang rewards players with a Laftel Basic membership.

The 'SUVA Summer School Season 1', a streamer tournament in collaboration with Chzzk, is also underway. A practice scrimmage held on July 30th featuring 36 streamers recorded 17,000 concurrent viewers. The main event takes place on the 8th and 10th, featuring Chzzk Raffle Drops where viewers can enter to win prizes including an RTX 5090 and BHC chicken coupons.

SUPERVIVE is a battle royale PC game that launched on July 24th. Players choose hunters with unique abilities to form teams of three and compete to be the last survivors among 12 teams. The game features high-flying combat using gliders and dynamic encounters that change based on the environment.
