Nexon announced that the 2025 FC Online Super Champions League (FSL) Summer, the pinnacle of the domestic league for EA SPORTS FC Online, developed by EA Korea Studio and serviced by Nexon, will kick off on the 18th.

This season boasts a total prize pool of 1 billion KRW and will take place at the DN Colosseum in Jamsil, Seoul. Eight teams—GEN CITY (formerly Gen.G), T1, DN Freecs, Dplus KIA, kt Rolster, DRX, Nongshim RedForce, and BNK FearX—are each sending four players to compete.

The 32-player group stage will follow an eight-group double-elimination format, running every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 6 PM until October 1st. The opening day features a clash between the previous season's champion, GEN CITY's 'wonder08' Ko Won-jae, and DN Freecs' 'Jade' Lee Hyun-min, followed by a total of three matches including the face-off between last season's runner-up, T1's 'Ofel' Kang Jun-ho, and kt Rolster's 'BOX' Kang Seong-hun.

The round of 16 tournament shifts to a single-elimination format, held every Monday and Tuesday at 7 PM from October 13th to 21st. The quarterfinals are set for October 27th and 28th at 7 PM. The semifinals and the grand final will take place on November 1st and November 15th respectively at the SOOP Colosseum in Sangam, with the ultimate winner taking home an individual prize of 50 million KRW.

The tournament will be broadcast live on the official FC Online e-sports YouTube channel and the official SOOP channel. Viewers can redeem coupons revealed during the live broadcast for rewards such as BP and player packs, while watching on the official SOOP channel may grant Nexon Cash through a Drops event.

For context, the 2025 FSL Spring—the first season following the transition to a franchise model—saw GEN CITY's rookie 'wonder08' Ko Won-jae claim the title as a royal roader. The season recorded a cumulative 10.22 million viewers and 140 million minutes of watch time.
